College of Horticulture was established with intact capacity of 50 students for awarding the degree of B. Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture under control of College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh during 2012. Various departments viz., Fruit Science, Vegetable Science, Floriculture and Landscape Architecture, Post-Harvest Technology, Plant Protection, Natural Resource Management, Basic Science and Social Science were also established with various laboratories. The college become independate during the year 2017. The PG programme was also started under the edge of college from the year 2019 with discipline of Fruit Science, Floriculture and landscape Architecture and Vegetable Science for awarding the degrees of PG and Ph.D. The departments are working with multi-functional activities like Teaching, Research and Extension education for the growth of horticulture sector of the state for the students, farmers and stakeholders.
Sports Activities :Under graduate level the physical education course is being offered for 1st Semester, in which basic skills of various major games and the principles of physical education is taught.
